My name is Colleen Flowers and I want to help you find out if alternative cancer treatment at a clinic in Germany is right for you. As a cancer survivor who has received alternative cancer treatment in Germany... I've been there! I've done it! And I can answer a lot of your questions and help you find the answers to the other ones.
In 2015, 2016, and 2019 I traveled from the US to a clinic in Germany for my own alternative cancer treatment. In 2017 and 2018 I moved to Germany to live in Berlin as a US expat. While there, I met many doctors and visited their clinics in order to help other patients figure out cancer treatment options in Germany. Why Talk with Me?
Bottom line... because I can save you a lot of time and energy researching and comparing the various treatments, doctors, and clinics. And also... I've been sitting in the same spot you're sitting right now.
In 2015 when my sister and I were researching treatment options after the cancer diagnosis I was given, we just wanted to talk with someone who had traveled to Germany for alternative cancer treatment. We wanted to know if this an absolutely crazy idea, or do normal people really choose this option?
And if I was actually going to do this... I also had a bunch of questions that weren't about the doctors or treatments but about logistics... like how to contact the clinic, what the cost was, paying for treatment (and wiring money to the clinic using TransferWise), flying there quickly, the culture, the language, what to expect, what not to expect, why can't this treatment be given in the US, what a typical day is like, and more!
So that's where I come in... I don't think there's a "perfect" or "best" cancer treatment plan or clinic or doctor in North America or Germany. *gasp*
But I do think there's a "perfect" or "best" choice for you.
Maybe it means going to Germany. Maybe not. Maybe it means going to Mexico. Maybe it means staying in your hometown and using local health care practitioners. But at the very least, you can make a more informed and hopefully more empowered decision after talking with me.
